The organization is dedicated to empowering Hispanic-owned businesses and professionals in the Greater Rochester area, founded in 1989 to promote economic and educational advancements for the Hispanic community.

The Small Business Council of Rochester (SBC), an affiliate of Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, has a lot to offer businesses in the Greater Rochester area. Led by an entirely volunteer but dedicated group of Rochester’s small business leaders, the Small Business Council of Rochester is committed to providing Rochester’s business community with programs to help local business leaders, and their businesses, grow and prosper – both personally and professionally.

Women Business Enterprise Certification with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), a private third-party that certifies women-owned businesses on behalf of U.S. corporations, or WBE certification through city, county, or state programs.

Women of Excellence identifies high-achieving women for their tremendous career accomplishments. The women are selected based on their professional experience, community involvement, leadership and sustained commitment to mentoring.

The ATHENA Young Professional Award® program was founded in 2007 by ATHENA International to honor emerging women leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession.

The Financial Leaders awards recognizes financial professionals who have made outstanding contributions to their organizations and to the Greater Rochester community during the past year.
